APA taekwondo
Nurturing the next generations with love, self-discipline, and a lot of fun!
Scope: Brand Strategy, Visual Identity, Social Media, Advertising.
APA Taekwondo is a youth-focused martial arts center promoting self-discipline, confidence, and healthy habits through sports and psychomotor development. They focus on nurturing emotionally resilient children and teens through structured, fun physical activity.
The project involved a full rebrand based on competitive research and dream client profiling. The updated strategy included a refreshed visual identity, digital and print advertising, social media content, and branded merchandise. Within six months of launching the new brand, APA Taekwondo doubled its 3-year client base.
We started APA Taekwondo three years ago with one goal: to give our students the best service possible. That helped us grow, mostly through word of mouth, but we eventually hit a wall and couldn’t seem to grow any more. A friend took a look at our — pretty much non-existent — brand and recommended we talk to Eber about it. Honestly, one of the best decisions we’ve made. In our first meeting, he broke everything down for us in a way that made sense and showed us different paths we could take to improve our marketing.
About a month later, after a couple more check-ins, he came back with a brand that felt totally exceptional and unique, and proposed a plan for how to make the most out of our new identity. No other school in town had anything like it. Most of them had generic logos, just with different colors. The result? We doubled our student base in six months, from 35 to 70, our max capacity. Thanks to this, we’re now getting ready to open our second location.
